Little Bitter Things Going Down Well

The Little Bitter Things range expanded this week with an exclusive partnership with Pivni, York. We've been working with the lovely people at Pivni cafe bar to create a special range of chocolates using some of the world beers that they stock, we had a great time tasting lots of chocolates and beers to find a perfect match, we hope that you like the outcome of our hard work. The final 3 that we've decided to start off with are Strawberry Timmermans, Bernard's Cerne and Pivni made by Thornbridge Brewery:

Strawberry Timmermans - We've combined this gorgeously fruity beer with a milky white chocolate to create a subtle but distinctively fruity flavour, this chocolate has been covered in milky Belgian chocolate.

Cerne - This gentle, dark beer has some subtle aromas, but has some dark chocolate notes that emerge from the beer, it matches perfectly with a strong dark chocolate to create a tangy chocolate ganache.

Pivni - This has a gorgeous fruity flavour, it goes really well with a milk chocolate centre and covering to create and exotic fruity chocolate.

We hope you will try these for yourself, the Little Bitter Range for Pivni are available from Pivni Cafe Bar, 6 Patrick Pool, York. YO1 8BB. Please let us know if you have suggestions for our next chocolate/ale combinations, or join us at York Food and Drink Festival at 5.00pm on Thursday 23rd June at the Festival Demonstration Stage for a special Pivni and Little Pretty Things chocolate and beer matching as part of the festival programme.
